  18. Loved your vlog! I just finished watching the farewell Dr Emily and Tony episode of Dr Pol so it was bittersweet to then see the vlog and realize how much I’ll miss you both. I loved how many questions you were able to answer! Keep doing more!

  33. I don’t want any of the following to sound weird to either of you. It’s comes from a very loving place so, bare with me. I don’t know if I am commenting in the right spot but, here goes..I just watched the video you guys did! First of all you two remind me of how my husband and I used to be. He has been diagnosed with Huntingtons disease and it has changed him so much. He is not like he used to be anymore. It brought back some really good memories for me.
    You two are absolutely adorable together and we both love you!! I really mean that. You two are really cool people. The kind of people that you’d love to be friends with. I have to add that last night was your last episode on Dr. Pol. I cried so hard. This sounds weird but we felt as if we were losing two friends. We had come to look forward to see what Tony and Emily were doing every week. And how many patients and what kind, was she going to have. I know you were severely overworked at times. That being said, I felt as if you guys had heart and personality. I had seen Dr. Pol tear up a few times but, when you did, Emily, we knew you had real heart. Not saying anything bad about Dr. Pol at all. Because we love him. You had lost a patient and turned your back to the camera. I knew you were crying. It was nice to see that you REALLY cared about your patients, that indeed you were an animal lover. Not, that I like to see people cry but, it does show heart, and feelings, and that you really care about animals. I don’t know how if you had to put the animal to sleep or it had passed away. Same difference, the animal would and did not not survive. Every time someone I know loses a pet, or on TV, one has to be put down, I cry. I am a bleeding heart for ALL animals. I know that none of us know you but, BOTH OF YOU are so truly missed. It was really nice to see a real and loving couple on TV and working together, sometimes going on calls together. Helping each other. I am really glad that you are happy in Virginia and if you ever get to Washington state, we have four seasons too. Hiking, mountains, the ocean and desert. It’s a great place for vacations. Anyway, be good you two. The vlog was hilarious. Please, please, please do some more, if you have time!! We LOVED IT!! Thank you for sharing a bit of your life with all of us. And I also have to add too that, your kids are absolutely adorable. I was so glad you weren’t hurt when that cow kicked you!!   41. Just a side note: Enjoy this warm February. As a semi-local,(Central MD),I can say with some authority that this is NOT normal! I would also recommend a visit to DC at Cherry Blossom time. It’s the best time of year to visit, despite the crowds.Anyway, thanks for the vlog. You guys are adorable!

  44. Hi Emily. You’ve been very gracious about Nat Geo and Dr. Pol, but the standard for paying you and the other vets shouldn’t be the standard vets salary, but how much revenue the show is generating.

And love seeing you happy, but so jealous that you said it was 55 in Virginia when it’s 11 wind chill here in Michigan, why you don’t miss this weather I don’t have a clue 🤣🤣 you actually missed a 2 day storm we just had UHG🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ It was brutal!! Lucky you!! High winds, snow, ice…. IM TO DAMN OLD FOR THIS LOL 😂 the wind actually knocked me down today on a 3 foot snow drifts as I was carrying hay, good thing I was bundled and landed on the hay 🤣🤣🤣 but yeah that’s how bad it is!! Love you both, enjoy that 55 degrees in February!!!

    1. That sounds awful. I definitely don’t miss that weather. We’ve had 1 good snow (about 5 inches) we played in it, we built 2 snowmen, and within 3 days it was completely gone. It was wonderful, we got our snow fix. Hopefully the weather improves up there eventually. =)

  46. My wife and I have both enjoyed your posts. Keep them coming! Here are a couple questions for a future Q&A: Do you stay in touch with the other vets who have left the practice? I’m thinking of people like Drs Sandra, Elizabeth, and Erin. How did Dr. Michele meet your brother, and how long was it before she left to head for Missouri? Are you having any luck selling your Michigan house? Does your listing point out that it was yours? I would think that would be a selling point! Do you get paid when you are on a rerun of the show? Seems like as many episodes you two were in that you would have a nice steady income from that! If these seem of interest, I would enjoy the responses.
