  1. Entertaining and informative, as usual! Glad you guys are happy and safe. Keep it up!

  2. My cat who is 2, a Sphynx with hair, has recently been diagnosed with Cystitis. He’s on 3 different meds. Gabapentin 50 mg, 1/2 tablet for 10 days. Prazosin;0.5 mg every 12 hours. Robenacoxib. 6 mg tabs 2 tablets every 24 hrs for 3 days. Do you think this will help him poop and pee?
He eats raw and high quality canned, mostly protein.

I miss you on Incredible Dr Pol. Do you miss your former co workers?

  3. The cat sucking the life out of a child…I think that comes from an old Stephen King Movie (1982ish), “Creep Show” I saw it when I was in High School at an overnight event at the high school. I hate the Horror genre and there are better uses for your time like binge watching “The Incredible Dr. Pol” I was introduced to it by the kids a few months ago and I am somewhere in season 10 now.

If I could I would like to ask a Dr. Pol Question. Somewhere in Season 9 Charles set up a beehive and installed a 3# package of bees in it. If the subject is dealt with in a later episode, I’ll run across it, but I suspect it will not. Whatever became of that interest? I am a small time beekeeper myself and it didn’t look like Charles was too excited to be around them once he opened the box.

  4. Thank you for the blog. It’s wonderful to see you two and know you’re happy. I have a question about mama cows and horses. When they lose a baby do they get depressed about it and miss the calf/colt?

  5. Hi Emily!

I had to bring my 6 month old (fully vaccinated) puppy to the vet because she had vomited multiple times that day. The vet wanted to test her for parvovirus because he said he had recently had an older puppy who had tested positive for the virus even thought that puppy had been fully vaccinated as well. My puppy tested negative, as I suspected.

Have you ever had cases of dogs contracting the parvo even after they’ve been fully vaccinated?
