Upcoming post

Hi everybody, this is Tony. I’m just sending out this email to all of Emily’s followers to let you know that I will be posting a story tomorrow. The story will be about how awesome Emily is and more specifically how she saved the lives of 3 out of 4 of our pets. Its been a rough couple of days for her (she has been working long hours recently) and I’m trying to cheer her up. I’m hoping you could help me with this by sharing some love her way through the post tomorrow.

Anyway, just thought I would send out a heads up, look for the post tomorrow, and, as always, thanks for reading

    1. Well I’m not gonna wait till tomorrow I’m going to tell her right now how beloved she is! Though I am considerably older than you guys she is a blessing to me every time I read about her! Our father God put her on my heart when I first saw her and I loved her like I love my daughter And she is valued more than she can possibly know. Tell her that we are you Tony?

  6. I love Emily! I had the pleasure of meeting her one random day while in Mt Pleasant to see my son! She is a true hero! I only wish we had a Vet like her down here in Southeast Michigan!

  7. Of course, just by watching Emily on TV doesn’t mean I know her in any way like you do but the way she goes the extra mile to save an animal absolutely exemplifies her kindheartedness. From what I have seen…She is the type of person everybody wants as their friend. I miss watching her on TV but I totally understand her decision to depart Michigan. Keep up the great work, Emily, and never lose that sense of humor that keeps you sane in an insane world!

  8. What a guy! Every woman should have a husband who is so in tune with her feelings and will do whatever he can to brighten her life. You two are very lucky to have one another.

  9. I love how supportive you two are of each other. Of course we will send her some extra love tomorrow ❤

  10. She is awesome! Anything we can do to keep that pretty smile on her face!! You and the kids are all right too!! Lol. 😊

  11. Looking forward to it! You both have a warm place in my heart, and I love reading the blogs! One (of many) of my favorite moments on the show with Dr Emily was the day Doc Pol was coming back to work after his foot/ankle surgery, and Dr Emily was up on the counter pointing outside and looking toward the camera with a huge smile on her face! I’m sure it was staged, but am also sure it was her idea, what with her great fun-loving sense of humor! Love and prayers to you all.

  12. Definitely Tony, can’t wait to read your blog. Sending lots of love and big hugs out to Emily.

  13. Hi Emily, I just wanted to remind you that you are special and loved by so many. It is not by accident that you were on a popular TV program. God has chosen you for special things. God says he will not forget you and he will order ever step you that you take. His love goes with you and your sweet family. He has you on his mind and he loves you and cares for you as much as you care for your family. You are loved and prayed for by people that you will never meet.

  14. I think Dr. Emily is so fabulous. She is so genuine and so skillful. I could watch her for hours! I love watching her on the Dr. Pol series and she was by far my favorite vet. She is so humble and sincere. She tries so hard to help animals and is so empathetic to their humans. I wish she was closer because I would take my pets to her in a heartbeat. You are a one of a kind human being, Dr. Emily and an exceptional veterinarian!

  19. Hi Emily-
Yes, you’re awesome. I enjoy reading yours ( and Tony’s) posts. I grew up reading the series of books by James Herriot about being a vet in Yorkshire, England and they inspired my love for animals and my respect for vets like you. Have you read them? Keep up your good work, and your honesty, about being a vet.

  20. Hey Tony and Dr. Emily, just wanted to let you know your blog helps more people than you realize. I was in a dark place the other day until I read the post about your adventures of bathing 3 kids. It made me literally laugh out loud because I reminded me so much of me and my 2 year old son. I only have one, but I’ll tell ya, the struggle is real!!
Parenting little ones is hard enough, and when you add a move and new jobs on top of that, it has to be incredibly stressful. Keep up the good work and welcome to beautiful Virginia!

    1. hi everyone. I have so enjoyed reading your blog! its rough out in the real world of adulting but you make it so much more enjoyable.

  21. My wife and I are sorry to hear that Dr. Emily is down a bit and very tired. We hope she gets enough rest soon. We both love the empathetic person she is. We both think she should cut back on the giving of self a little, but that just isn’t who she is.

  22. Can’t wait for your story Tony.

Stay strong Emily. With each bad day comes a better one around the corner.😘

  25. Emily, you are a special spirit. Heavenly Father loves you, He loves all of us. He may not like what we do, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love us. You are very talented. and underappreciated. I am an only child. my parents wanted more but due to medical reasons, she couldn’t. I have been married 13 yrs in may 18, and no children due to abuse issues. not by my daddy thank heaven I have a fabulous set of parents. You’re younger than me and I was wondering would you like a big sister in Utah? who thinks the world of you and thinks you can work miracles and are down to earth too,? and could use a charming brother – in law and a niece and a couple of nephews all with wonderful personalities? I am easy to talk too. understanding grumpy sometimes understanding when you are grumpy too, feel free to be yourself with me. I lived with a cop for over 40 years in my dad and my mom was a admin benefits payroll human resource specialist. I am offering my friendship confidentially of course. I love your blogs. I am not desperate or begging I just have a special feeling about you and think you and I have a lot in common and views and could be great friends. Just give me a chance. Please. you are worth your weight in gold. and I am worth my weight in hay LOL please let me know by sending me an email. Thank you, Emily, your hopefully friend Sarah

  26. Hi Emily and Tony. I really enjoy your blog. Watched Dr. Pol and it was just not the same without you. Hope your new job is less stressful.

Eres una veterinaria de admirar. Lqm

  29. Just wanted to say that we love the blog! We have been HUGE fans of Dr. Pol & the show. Being from SC, we especially love Dr. Emily! I would like to let her know that she has been an inspiration to my daughter to pursue her dream of becoming a large animal vet. My daughter has times of doubt and discouragement (like waiting on the college acceptance letter she REALLY wants!) and thinking ahead to all of the school she must complete. I hope my daughter will continue to be motivated as we watch the show and follow the blog. Thank you for sharing with us!
